We invited a whole bunch of families from Playford to give them the opportunity to get to know a bit more about Family by Family. Families got to do heaps of fun stuff, like making kites, decorate cupcakes and a family portrait.
A competition to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti, play dough, marshmallows, wooden sticks, straws was a favourite amongst the Dads. Families also got to spend time with a contemporary Aboriginal artist who helped them paint a portrait of their family using Aboriginal symbols.
We would like to send a BIG thank-you out to the Marion and Playford families who helped us run the stalls! We would also like thank the Peachey Belt Residents Association for cooking the barbecue and last but not least to all of the families who came along!Tags: Northern Adelaide, Scoping
